Roger Grimm says:

Richard was a very special person. He was always willing to help others. He took me( a very big city person) under his wing and helped me to find happiness in his tiny country town. My group from California was quick to welcome Rich and Effie to our social gatherings. They helped us city slickers to understand the very different life style we had been dumped into.
Richard was a gifted craftsman and a champion on the skeet range. He would consistently help newcomers to the sport and coached many to become capable shooters.
I have been away from Tullahoma for many years but consider Richard to be one of my very best friends. I am sad he had to go and our world is a better place because of Rich. Vaya Con Dios my friend.

Eddy and Lisa Seals says:

Sorry to hear this,he worked with Eddy and me at Rock Tenn for years, such a nice man

Dennis Hyde says:

I salute Richard as one of the finest person I have ever know. I regret that I didn’t know of his passing until today.
One of my biggest treasures is a hand carved green wing teal duck Richard gave me when we worked together at Rock Tenn. He was a gifted craftsman that used his skills in the die shop.
Another tribute to Richard was his work with the youth in learning how to shoot skeet and the safe use of firearms.
He was always proud of being a US Marine as I am. We were brothers in arms. SemperFi Richard. Rest In Peace.
Dennis Hyde
