Doris Tucker says:

I didn't know Anita very long but she was my preceptor when I started working at Unity.
She was a great nurse and took the time to show me the ropes. I learned to love her
quickly and was so saddened by her disease. I know she will be greatly missed and she
she loved you all very much. I'm so sorry for your lost, she will be missed. Praying for you

Beverly Skiles says:

Chris and family

I had known Anita for several years. She was always so sweet and
kind. Her spirit was so gentle and kind no wonder she was a nurse
She will be greatly missed. I will keep you and the family in my
prayers. God grant you serenity and peace

carol munyon says:

Our family was blessed to know Anita when we first moved to Tullahoma. She was an amazing friend who always made time to listen, talk, and cook! Yes, she made many country dishes and blessed us with her sweet hospitality. She did what I could never do: She turned my daughter into a fried okra lover! We will never forget her or her sweet smile and sense of humor. I lived around the corner from her and I got a kitten for the first time in my life. I got a collar and a leash and tried to walk the kitten to her house. Of course, I was unsuccessful. When I got to her house and explained my predicament, she just laughed and laughed until she cried. I can still see the scene and she said, "Carol Ann, don't you know you can't walk a cat?" (Well, no...I did not!) She helped us transition into our church family and Tennessee culture, which we miss so much! Anita's greatest loves were her two children. I am sorry we never got the chance to meet her husband before we moved. As I think of all she went through with ALS, I know she was a woman of faith and I know she held on to God's hand through her illness. May God bless all of you as you go through this time of loss and sorrow. Anita will not be forgotten because God gave her such a big light to shine, and as a nurse, she was able to bless so many. Our prayers and love are with you all. For now, it's not "Good-bye." It's just "So long, sweet friend...until we meet again on the other side." Brother Greg and Carol Munyon

Darlenia - Muncie, Indiana says:

I met Anita at Bill Rice Ranch when we were still active in youth ministry. We hit it off famously. We made lots of memories together .
Although we hadn't seen or talked in a while, we were always connected.
Her Faith and Love of Family was always prevalent
She is now singing Alto in the Heavenly Choir.
I look forward to singing perfect harmony with her............

Chris, Jeremy and Jayme: My heart hurts for your loss. Lean on Jesus through this time of sorrow and transition. We WILL see her again.....
