Tributes

Michael and sharon Ford says:

Jim was a quiet man. Never heard him say a lot, but enough to know he was dedicated to his family, his beliefs and enjoyed being a Mason and Scout leader. So sorry for your loss.

Lennon Morrison says:

Some of my fondest childhood memories were made under the guidance and care of him as Scoutmaster of Troop 142. Many thanks for making us boys better men. Condolences to all of his family and friends.

Robin Smith says:

Jim was Scoutmaster for two of my sons, Nathan Robison and Ethan Robison. He was an amazing man. We so enjoyed all the times spent with him at Troop 142 meetings, camp outs, Boxwell and Philmont. Condolences and prayers from Nathan Robison and family, Ethan Robison and family, and myself.

Cindy Young says:

Jim Reed was always referred to, respectfully, as Mr Reed in our home as he nurtured our sons to Eagle. He not only supported scouting activities, he attended their functions in other venues as well. In getting to know Jim over the past 14+ years we learned what an amazing man he was, how many adventures he had done: Ski Patrol, backpacking treks, Boy Scout camps, Masonic involvement. Thank you, Mr Reed, for the influence you had on our family. Prayers for comfort for his family at this time, from Scott, Cindy, Dillon, and Dryden.

Harry and Corky(Vogt) Bahr says:

Fond memories of Jim in Festus with the Festus High School Class of 1962. Will remember him at our reunion get together next month.
