Gary Smartt says:

The biggest gift I received from my Dad is that he loved my Mom will all his heart for 65 years. They never failed to tell each other that they loved each other until the very end. That is a good lesson for everyone - never forget to tell your loved ones that you love them. I was blessed to have him for almost 91 years - he taught me to be the man I am today and I will forever be grateful for that.

I love and will miss you Dad, Gary

Tiffany Carroll Gray says:

We will truly miss Uncle Carl. He was such a good kind hearted man that truly loved his wife and family. He was my Daddy’s bird hunting buddy for many years and then became his fishing buddy. He loved to garden and always had the prettiest garden around and the most beautiful manicured yard. He loved his job working for Bryan Oil Company (Amoco) and loved all the guys he worked with. You could always spot him in that gas truck. He will truly be missed by our family and I know he and Dad are catching up talking and laughing about everything. RIP Uncle Carl until we meet again!

Love you always
Tiffany and Braxton Gray

Michael Robison says:

I am so very saddened by the loss of Mr.Carl. I remember so vividly, as a small boy, Mr. Carl and my dad, Clarence, driving gas trucks for Kennedy and Bryan Oil Company. Most recently I had run into Carl at 3-way Market drinking coffee. Those were precious memories. To Faye and the family, my prayers and condolences are with you. My dad has been gone now over 14 years and theres not a day that I dont miss him. With loving sympathy, Michael Robison
