Crosslin, William Harold “Jack” -

William Harold “Jack” Crosslin

Murfreesboro - William Harold “Jack” Crosslin age 60 of Murfreesboro passed away Friday July 21, 2017. A native of Tullahoma, he was the son of the late Harold and Burtia Crosslin, and preceded in death by his only son and was a devoted father to Cody Clay Crosslin. Jack spent countless hours overseeing his care, always researching for a cure for his only child and complete devotion in all areas of his life. In addition to his son he is also preceded in death by his brother; Dewey Crosslin

Mr. Crosslin is survived by his wife of nearly 5 years, Sherry Marie Crosslin, the love of his life. They met and fell in love at the age of 17. Tragedy brought them back together after being apart for nearly 30 years. Throughout his battle of Myasthenia Gravis, Sherry remained by his side being his voice and providing constant care. His illness strengthened their marriage, never once wavering in the love and devotion for one another.

The family would like to give thanks to his step-daughter; Holly Morgan(Loren), who lovingly spent endless hours caring over him in his final week of life. Thank you to his brother in law and sister in law, Sam and Dianne Hixson for sitting with the family throughout his surgeries, offering support and constant prayer. Their gift of time and Jack’s favorite goodies from The Bakery in Chattanooga always put a smile on his face. He enjoyed their reading of scripture from his Bible during his finals days of life that allowed him to the peace of leaving this world to enter into his eternal home with God. He is also survived by his two sisters Ann (David) McAnnally and Betty (J.R.) Sons. Also, a special thanks to his niece, Stacy Crosslin Pross and family who frequently visited and shared memorable talks, constant hugs and constant affection. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Doug and Roxanne Green; daughters Ashley and Jessica who had remained his lifelong family. Thank you for the many visits, laughs, long talks and the love that life cannot measure. You are not only friends, but family who have been there not only in the best of times but in the hardest of times.

Mr. Crosslin was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church where he volunteered as a prayer warrior and he was retired from Nissan. Jack will always be remembered for his love of UT football and Nascar. He had a beautiful smile that could light up the darkest of nights. Jack left many with joy and laughter, his gifts were too many to name.

Visitation with the Crosslin family will be from 12:00 Monday July 31, 2017 until time of memorial service at 2:00PM at Tullahoma Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Sala officiating.

Go soar high with the angels my love. You are free at last.
