Walker Roles Widick, Billie Jean

Stanford - Billie Jean Walker Roles Widick, age 76, of Tullahoma passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Stanaford, WV and a daughter of the late Oscar and Lily Walker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Dr. Earl E. Roles II and three brothers James, George and Owen Walker. Billie Jean was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma and a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, WV. She went on to graduate from St. Mary?s School of Nursing in Huntington, WV with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation she worked alongside her first husband Dr. Earl E. Roles II in his medical practice. Following his death she started Medical Home Health Care, eventually growing to serve nine middle Tennessee counties. She is survived by her dear friend for over 60 years and loving husband and companion for 18 years Dr. Paul R. Widick; children Earl Roles III of Clifton Forge, VA, Andrew (Mary) Widick of Wilmington, DE and Nancy Wolfslayer of Westchester, PA; a grandson Kinzua Wolfslayer of Westchester, PA; a sister Dolores Byrge of Beckley, WV and a sister in law Betty Leslie of Alameda, CA. Friends are invited to attend graveside services at 1:30 pm Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Bro. Pat Allison officiating.
