Brian Drewry says:

Mr. Wieland was a big part of my life when I was young. I was very close to his son Dean and spent time at their home in Louisville.
Mr. Wieland was always willing to help me with anything I needed. He was kind and patient. He had an extremely high mechanical aptitude, able to repair anything that needed it. I remember marveling at his abilities when I was young. He’d replace a timing chain on his station wagon or re-brick a large portion of his home in Barbour Manor. He was also assistant scoutmaster for troop 317, of which I was a member of. I am sorry for his passing, he lives in my memory now and always will. I hope that Dean, Wendy and Mrs. Wieland are well and happy.

Sincerely, Brian Drewry.
