Jernigan, Michael Murrell -

Tullahoma - Michael Murrell Jernigan, age 68 of Tullahoma, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. Mike was a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard during the Vietnam War. He loved his job as a cable repairman and after 36 years he retired from AT&T. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with his friends at Holiday Marina. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather(Poppy).

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Robert Jernigan and Lillian Hendershot and sister Joy Florio.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 Years Susan McAlister Jernigan; two children Christopher (Kimberly) Jernigan and Tracey (Tom) Dimon; three grandchildren Ella Grace Dimon, Tommy Dimon and Kate Jernigan; brother Jody Jernigan; two sisters Lori Jernigan and Marty (Bill) Gonzales; family friend Colette Thompson; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Kobe.
